B's Grandmother

The heart of these photographs are of Debbie who is going through her third round of chemo therapy. With the unspoken knowledge that she may not be around to see her grandchild grow up, she hopes for them to have more in their lives than popular culture and worldly items. As unspoken as her hopes for her grandchild, are her fears that she has passed her sickness on to her grandchild through her son who may carry the hereditary cancer gene. Although her family is unsupportive towards her faith, Debbie prays for the health of her grandchild, both physically and spiritually.
